From first briefing to final handover, our process is designed around the realities of project delivery — tight programmes, multiple stakeholders and zero tolerance for delays.

Whether your project is residential or commercial, KIS Joinery follows a proven seven-step process to ensure every piece of joinery is delivered on time, to specification and to the highest standard.

1. Project Briefing

We review your project documentation and meet with your team to understand scope, specifications and programme requirements. Whether you are at tender stage or post-contract, we can step in at the right time.

2. Site Assessment

We attend site to verify dimensions, assess access and identify any constraints that may affect manufacturing or installation. Getting this right early prevents costly surprises later.

3. Shop Drawings and Approvals

Our team produces detailed shop drawings for review and approval by your project manager, designer or client. We work through any revisions quickly to keep the programme on track.

4. Material Procurement

We source and order all materials, hardware and fittings, confirming lead times with your project coordinator. For projects requiring specific laminates, solid surfaces or specialty finishes, we manage the entire procurement process.

5. Manufacturing

All joinery is built in our Brisbane workshop under strict quality control. We stage production to align with your installation schedule, ensuring components are ready when your site needs them.

6. Delivery and Installation

We coordinate delivery around your site programme and can work outside standard hours when required. Our installation team is experienced in occupied and tenanted environments, working cleanly and efficiently to minimise disruption.

7. Defects and Aftercare

We stand behind our work. Post-installation, we conduct a defects inspection and address any items promptly. We are committed to a smooth handover and ongoing support throughout the defects liability period.
